NAM Nomination Withdraws
National Association of Manufacturers executive vice president Michael Baroody expressed his frustration with the nominating process in a letter to the editor of the Washington Post. Baroody withdrew his nomination to head the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Patrick Ross leaves his fellowship at the Progress and Freedom Foundation to lead the Copright Alliance.
Ian Martinez is the new communications director for the Telecommunications Industry Association.

Gallagher Game To Lead ESA
The Entertainment Software Association, representing the leading video game publishers has scored a new leader -- Michael Gallagher.
A top trade negotiator, Dorothy Dwoskin, has traded jobs from the U.S. Trade Representative's office to Microsoft's Washington office.
John Sano is also leaving his government career, going from the Central Intelligence Agency to Cisco.

New Media Darr-ling At Harvard
Carol Darr, the director of George Washington University's Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet, will be taking a year-long teaching appointment at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.
National Association of Manufacturers communications guru Pat Cleary will have a new post at Fleishman-Hillard.
The Information Technology Industry Council has hired James Ratchford as their new communications director.

A Happy Ending For Video Mashup Producer
The creator of the anti-Hillary Clinton "1984" Internet ad has an office job again. Phil de Vellis has joined the Democratic political media consulting firm Murphy Putnam Media.
The National Assocation of Manufacturers is pleased the presidenthas named a former board member as his "manufacturing czar."
Gregaroy Nojeim has moved from the ACLU to become senior counsel for the Center for Democracy and Technology.
