Associations Elect New Presidents
Both CSIA and PFF have new presidents. CSIA brought over Tim Bennett from AeA. PFF promoted one of its longtime scholars Tom Lenard.
The Computing Technology Industry Association has expanded its lobbying office, hiring Christopher Turner to handle telecom, cyber security and RFID issues.
AeA had added to its lobbying team too with Ben Aderson and Alan Vazquez.

EIA Gets An Interim CEO
The recently retired CEO for the Telecommunications Industry Association will return to lead the Electronics Industry Alliance. Matt Flanigan will stay for a few months while EIA looks for a new leader.
The producer of the anti-Hillary Clinton mashup is out with his latest video spoof and talks about his long term career plans with Tech Daily.
The Department of Homeland Security has filled some long standing vacancies including a new leader of media relations.

Another Top Democrat Leaves Hill
Senior aide for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is leaving for Hewlett-Packard. Kristy Skupa Sternhell has taken a job with the computer company's government relations team.
The DNC is taking heat in the blogosphere for hiring former RIAA spokeswoman Jenni Engebretsen. Bloggers are critical of RIAA for opposing pro-consumer policies including net neutrality.
The finance director for presidential hopeful John Edwards resigned days before the quarterly financial reports were released.
